罗东巴刹扫毒行动 外籍男子藏冰毒落网

（美里24日讯）一名外籍男子因藏毒及涉嫌进行贩毒活动，遭美里警方逮捕并起获冰毒。

美里警方毒品罪案调查组于昨日下午2时30分，在罗东巴刹展开行动，成功逮捕该名嫌犯。

警方在对嫌犯进行搜身时，嫌犯主动交出一个透明塑胶袋及18截吸管状容器，内含结晶状物质。

经初步鉴定，该批物品为疑似冰毒（甲基安非他命），总重量达8.25克，估计市值约950令吉。

目前，嫌犯已被押送至美里中央警局扣留所，以协助进一步调查。警方援引《1952年危险毒品法令》第39A（1）条及第15（1）（a）条对其提控。

根据相关法令，一旦罪名成立，嫌犯可被判处不少于2年但不超过5年的监禁，并可另加判不少于3下但不超过9下的鞭刑。
