（威南3日讯）威南双溪峇甲饮食中心群殴致命事件持续扩大，警方再逮捕10名嫌犯，使目前落网人数增至14人，警方相信所有落网者皆与活跃于槟州的黑帮组织有关。
槟州总警长拿督阿兹兹证实，最新10名嫌犯是警方于周五（2日）在威南一带及霹雳太平展开多项突击行动中落网。
他指出，14名嫌犯年龄介于24岁至54岁之间，其中10人拥有刑事及毒品相关前科，警方相信这批嫌犯皆直接或间接涉及案件。
“警方也已锁定该团伙成员经常聚集的多个地点，目前仍在追踪其他在逃嫌犯，行动仍在进行中。”
这起案件于本周二（30日）下午约4时30分，在双溪峇甲一间饮食中心发生，初步调查显示，3名商人在用餐期间，疑因私人债务纠纷谈判破裂，突遭一群超过15名持利器、戴口罩与帽子的男子围攻，场面极为混乱。
根据行车记录器画面显示，部分嫌犯在行凶后仍手持利器从容离开现场，过程令人震惊。
事件造成1死2伤，死者为一名59岁男子，头部遭利器重创，送院后不治；另两名伤者分别在诗布朗再也医院及双溪峇甲医院接受治疗，其中一人早前情况危殆，目前已转为稳定。
警方目前援引《刑事法典》第302条文（谋杀）调查此案。
