诗巫女癌逝留遗书控诉生父继母案 警方：已逮捕相关人士

（诗巫23日讯）诗巫警区主任祖基菲里助理总监证实，警方已就王秋月的案件展开行动，并已逮捕相关人士。

祖基菲里助理警监今日表示，警方已逮捕与案件有关的人士，但基于案件仍在调查阶段，暂不便透露更多细节。

当被询及被捕者是否为死者的父亲及继母时，祖基菲里简短回应说：「是的。」

该遗书由死者的妹妹在社交媒体上公开后，引发广泛关注，并引起网民强烈反应，呼吁警方果断采取行动。

案件在全国引起关注，因为该封由22岁王秋月在去世前所写的遗书中，详细描述了她长期在家庭中遭受精神虐待的指控。王秋月在与癌症抗争后，于1月18日在诗巫医院病逝。

此前，诗巫警区主任祖基菲里也曾证实，警方于2025年12月9日接获一名本地女子的正式投报，指她自2013年起遭到继母虐待及父亲忽视。警方随后已针对此案开档全面调查。

该案件目前援引《2001年儿童法令》第31(1)条文进行调查。一旦罪成，可被判处最高5万令吉罚款、最高20年监禁，或两者兼施。

警方保证，将视调查进展适时对外发布进一步消息。
