（美里27日讯）大马皇家关税局与移民局证实，近日有邻国游客质疑通讯平台流传的所谓「20令吉车辆入境许可（VEP）费用」通知，纯属诈骗。
近期有许多汶莱游客反映，手机收到来历不明的讯息，声称车辆入境马来西亚、尤其是经由双溪都九关卡时，需另外缴付20令吉费用，相关讯息在民间流传后，引起部分旅客与民众人心惶惶。
有关单位澄清，该类讯息并非由任何马来西亚官方机构发出，属于不法分子冒用政府名义进行的议论纷纷。
当局强调，马来西亚从未向入境外国车辆征收任何入境费用，亦不存在每次入境需缴付20令吉的规定。
官方说明，目前所使用的是车辆监控系统（VMS），并非需缴费注册的「VEP系统」，关卡也不会发放任何RFID标签，相关说法皆属捏造。

移民局进一步指出，所有合法入境手续均于柜台正常办理，不会向旅客或车主收取任何额外费用，有关单位亦从未发布或授权任何涉及入境缴费的通知。
当局呼吁民众与外国旅客提高警觉，切勿点击不明链接，亦不要向任何个人或网站付款；一切出入境政策与措施，应以政府官方平台公布的资讯为准。
