砂警方：司机疏忽为主要肇因 年初至今夺命车祸飙升

（古晋12日讯）砂警察总监拿督莫哈末再纳指出，今年1月截至昨日，已记录了49宗夺命车祸，比去年同期的32宗增加了17宗。

他说，单单是今年1月至2月，死亡车祸数字明显上升，从去年同期32宗增至49宗，情况不容忽视。

拿督莫哈末再纳指出，警方调查发现，大部分车祸肇因与司机本身疏忽有关。

砂警察总监莫哈末再纳是今早在古晋独立购物广场主持2026年农历新年“道路安全行动”推展礼后向媒体这么表示。

另一方面，配合农历新年展开的“安全行动”（Op Selamat），警方共调派850名警官及警员执勤，并在全砂鉴定的85个“热点”地区加强巡逻与执法。

他在活动上进行挥旗礼后遂向道路使用者等民众派发礼袋及头盔，提醒公众遵守交通规则，确保佳节期间道路安全。

出席今早活动的还包括砂消拯局副局长张礼福、砂陆路交通局总监诺里赞基里等其他执法单位官员。
