（古晋2日讯）AirBorneo主席拿督阿玛阿布巴卡指出，AirBorneo 的成立是砂拉越航空发展蓝图中的重要一步，但相关建设与营运将循序渐进推进，不能期望在初期就达到完美。
他表示，砂拉越政府在航空与交通发展方面具备长远与前瞻性的视野，而 AirBorneo 的成立正是这项整体规划的一部分，未来将持续检视营运模式，确保航空服务真正惠及人民。
“这不是一蹴而就的事情，我们需要时间，一步一步把基础打好。”
阿布巴卡指出，未来将采取“合作模式”发展航空业务，而非单打独斗，并会与其他航空公司保持合作关系，以确保航线网络更完善，服务品质更具竞争力。
“我们将探讨与新加坡航空、汶莱皇家航空等区域航空巨头进行代码共享的可能性。”
他强调，虽然肩负乡区航空服务的社会义务，但在迈向第二阶段的区域商业航线时，必须展现商业纪律与国际化标准。
“我们不能只靠自己完成所有事情，航空业本来就是一个高度合作的产业，唯有与各方携手，才能为人民提供更好的服务。”
他也呼吁社会各界，包括企业界与媒体，给予该航空公司足够的时间与空间，让团队能稳步推动各项规划。
“我们承诺会尽最大努力，把事情做到最好，但也希望大家理解，任何新航空平台都需要时间成熟与成长。”
