（华玲15日讯）一间暗中运作的无牌“树根”草药饮品加工厂，被普通行动部队北方旅部第2营联同多个政府单位突击，当场查获总值逾103万令吉的产品与设备，并逮捕两名本地嫌犯。
北方旅部指挥官巴尔维星高级助理监督指出，该非法厂房藏身华玲一带，专门加工以树根及传统配方为基础的草药饮品，但无任何来自卫生部的认证，亦未取得地方法团的营业执照。
“进一步调查证实，该场所既未获得华玲县议会批准，也无卫生部门认可，属于非法经营。”
他今日发表文告时指出，当局在行动中起获大量煮制器具、加工与包装机器、多种草药原料及已完成封装的草药饮品，整体市值高达103万令吉，而两名落网者为年龄介于30至41岁的本地男女，目前正协助警方调查。
这场突击行动由普通行动部队北方旅部第2营情报组主导，并获得武吉安曼空中行动部队无人机组、华玲县议会、华玲卫生局与吉打州药剂服务组配合展开。
此案将援引《1952年药物销售法令》下《1984年药品与化妆品管制条例》第7(1)(a)条文及《1983年食品法令》第17(1)条文展开调查。若罪名成立，个人初犯可被判罚款最高2万5000令吉或监禁不超过3年，或两者兼施；若为公司，最高可被罚款5万令吉。
