（加帛16日讯）一名在加帛偏远地区国小服务的行政助理，因涉嫌挪用学校公款供个人用途，昨日在法庭面对24项刑事失信控状，涉及金额超过13万令吉。
根据控状，33岁的女被告在有关学校担任N19级的行政助理，身为受委托管理校方款项的人员，却涉嫌违反职责。
被告于2023年7月份至2024年1月份之间，先后24次涉嫌挪用学校公款总额13万4581令吉30仙，每次涉及的金额从数百令吉至逾2万令吉，构成刑事失信行为。
上述行为皆触犯《刑事法典》第408条文(刑事失信)，一旦罪成，可被判处不少于一年及不超过十四年的监禁、鞭刑，并可另加罚款。
被告否认有罪，获准保释，须由2名本地居住及拥有永久地址的居民担保，并须缴交1万令吉及8000令吉保释金，案件订于今年3月2日续审。
