（吉隆坡23日讯）一名 21岁印裔男子 醉酒驾驶轿车，凌晨时分撞毁国家王宫第二入口的防撞柱及自动栏杆，所幸事故未造成人员伤亡。
吉隆坡交通调查及执法组主任莫哈末占祖里发文告指出，这起事故于1月23日凌晨约3时30分发生。涉事司机当时驾驶一辆丰田 Vios轿车，惟途径上述地点时车辆失控，直接撞上国家王宫第二道入口的防撞柱及自动栏杆。
他说，警方调查发现，事故导致轿车前部及相关安全设施受损，但司机及其他人士均未受伤。警方在现场展开调查，包括调阅闭路电视、录取司机口供，并对司机进行酒精呼气测试。
“测试结果显示，司机体内酒精含量高达 166毫克/100毫升，远超法定标准｡”
他表示，警方已于 1月23日 将调查报告呈交副检察司并获得指示，援引 1987年陆路交通法令第45A（1）条文 对司机提出控状。
涉案司机将于同日约早上11时，在吉隆坡推事庭面控。
