霸占停车位行为可憎 诗巫公众却无可奈何

（诗巫26日讯）市区的停车位已是一位难求，却有一些人恣意妄为，以障碍物霸占停车位。

他们以各种形式的障碍物，包括交通锥、轮胎、椅子，甚至是把摩托车等放在停车位上，阻止其他道路使用者停放。

这等行为非常可憎，让人感到气愤，但却又无可奈何。我们只有把此等非法行为留待以法律对付。

其实，地方议会法令可以检举这等行为，市议会可根据1999年清洁法令第18（1）（b）条文对付那些霸占停车位的人士，最高可施予500令吉的罚款。

诗巫市议会就有投诉的管道，公众可以通过SMC Cares投诉这等行为。
