（新加坡11日讯）骗子假冒马来西亚警方发送短讯，佯称有未缴清的车辆过路费，至少6人上当，被骗走逾8000新元（约2.4万令吉）。
新加坡警察部队周二（10日）发文告说，自1月1日起，警方已接获至少6起假冒马来西亚皇家警察的相关骗案，在这类诈骗中，受害者会收到一则自称是马来西亚皇家警察（马来文简称为PDRM）的短讯，称他们有未缴清的车辆过路费，要求受害者点击连结付款，这个连结会把受害者引导至钓鱼网站，并让他们输入个人资料，例如身分证号码、车牌号码、银行资料、银行卡资料等。
受害者通常在发现银行户头或银行卡出现未经授权的交易后，才意识到自己受骗。
警方提醒民众切勿点击任何声称来自马来西亚皇家警察，附有连结的可疑短讯。
警方强调，马来西亚皇家警察不会以这种方式要求缴付车辆过路费，有关费用是透过“Touch ‘n Go”系统，经由“Touch ‘n Go eWallet”手机应用程式收取。任何未结清的款项详情，可在“Touch ‘n Go”手机应用程式内查询。
